The NEW Digital Quality Index
The New Digital Quality Index, only available from JDSU, catches digital errors better and faster than other traditional digital measurements, allowing installers to go a step further and detect impairments below the threshold at which digital video is corrupted. DQI is a real-time measurement and often catches impairments that are masked by the correction capability of QAM receiver components or the burst protection capability of deep interleaving.
