Time Warner Cable is serving up free digital music for more than 11 million subcribers via a deal with Slacker.
Time Warner Cable data customers will be able to access the various music genres that Slacker provides on its TWC Central web portal. Slacker has millions of songs and hundreds of curated Internet radio stations to pick from. Terms of the deal weren't available.

TWC Central, which launched in July  as a replacement for the company’s Road Runner website, is a web portal that connects customers to news, entertainment, information, social networking, as well as access to Time Warner Cable products and services.
Slacker, which claims to be “the most complete music service on Earth,” has a liberrary of more than 13 million songs, with new tracks added daily. The service features “hot” and “trending” charts and fine-tuning tools that help listeners to easily discover new music or add comedy, news, sports, and weather content from ABC, ESPN and The Weather Channel.
Slacker said it was the only digital music service that has billing and distribution deals with every major North American wireless provider, including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular. In addition, Slacker is available in vehicles produced by major automotive manufacturers including Ford, GM, Chrysler Group, Acura, Honda, Scion, Subaru and Tesla.
Slacker first hit the digital airwaves three years ago and has doubled its business every year since then. The company has also recently expanded its operations, opening offices in Palo Alto, CA and New York City.
