Elemental Technologies has hired David Godfrey as vice president of sales in Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Godfrey will lead sales and service efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. Elemental's customers in the region include KBS (Korean television network) and Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corp.) in Japan, and Sky Racing and Network 10 in Australia.
Prior to joining Elemental, Godfrey served as chief sales officer and co-founder at Imaginasia, a service organization that facilitates the sale of products from around the world into media and entertainment markets in Asia.
Prior to that, Godfrey held a variety of roles at NDS Limited and Tandberg (now part of Ericsson). While at Tandberg, Godfrey played a critical role in scaling the video infrastructure company to a leading position in Asia.

Elemental, which specializes in multi-screen video delivery, currently claims more than 100 enterprise customers worldwide, including Disney, ESPN and HBO.
Based in Hong Kong, Godfrey will lead sales and service efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
