Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) announced its membership has reached a new all-time high of 8,146 members.
"We are proud to reach this newest milestone," said WICT President and CEO Maria E. Brennan. "It is clear that regardless of economic conditions, leadership training is valued by our members and their companies."
WICT said the peak in its membership coincided with the launch of a new membership campaign.
For the past 30 years, WICT has partnered with cable and telecommunications leaders to provide professional development programs, research and services that help advance the careers of women in cable media.
WICT lists Comcast, Rainbow/WE tv, Time Warner Cable and Turner Broadcasting System as strategic partners.
