Connexion Technologies will rely on WLAN / Wi-Fi mesh networks supplied by BelAir Networks as it continues to build community-wide deployments throughout the U.S. in support of service providers.
Connexion is deploying a combination of BelAir200 quad-radio and BelAir100 dual-radio Wi-Fi nodes to deliver high capacity, low-latency, QoS-enabled broadband access to each home in the communities it is serving.
Geoff Fair, executive vice president of engineering for Connexion Technologies, said, “We’re not a service provider but we provide the broadband infrastructure that service providers use to reach their customers in the communities we serve, so our networks have to be carrier-grade and easy for us to centrally manage. That’s why we went with BelAir Networks. We’re known for our FTTH networks, so when we opt for a wireless alternative the performance stakes are very high and BelAir Networks has really delivered.”
