Consumers in Tulsa, Okla., now have access to AT&T’s U-verse services, which include U-verse TV, U-verse High-Speed Internet and U-verse Voice.
AT&T has launched its U-verse services in parts of Tulsa, Jenks and Owasso, Okla. The company said that it will make U-verse services available to more homthroughout the area on an ongoing basis.
AT&T offers a 100 percent IP-based TV service that offers customers more than 40 high-definition (HD) channels. U-verse TV subscribers have the ability to set their digital video recorder (DVR) from any location – including any Web-connected PC or compatible AT&T mobile phone (wireless service charges apply) – and can simultaneously record up to four standard-definition (SD) programs, or two HD programs, with the DVR.
AT&T U-verse TV subscribers also have access to AT&T Online Photos from Flickr, which allows them to upload photos and watch slideshows on their TVs. Other features of U-verse TV include AT&T U-bar, which brings customizable weather, stock, sports and traffic information to the TV screen; Yellowpages.com TV; AT&T Yahoo Games, which are also available on the TV screen; Built-in Picture-in-Picture; and an ever-growing video-on-demand (VOD) library.
U-verse Voice, a managed IP-based service that is delivered over AT&T's fiber-rich network, offers the following features: combined AT&T U-verse Voice and AT&T wireless voicemail with U-verse Messaging, which provides a single voice mailbox that can be accessed from any phone line or PC; U-verse Central, an online management portal where subscribers can manage all of their voice-related services; Call History; Click to Call; an online address book; Locate Me; and other traditional calling features.
And AT&T U-verse High-Speed Internet provides consumers with a maximum downstream speed of up to 10 Mbps, and a maximum upstream speed of up to 1.5 Mbps. All AT&T U-verse High-Speed Internet packages include wireless home or office networking at no extra cost. Subscribers also receive virtually unlimited e-mail storage, anti-virus and anti-spam software, and access to AT&T’s Wi-Fi network, with free unlimited connectivity at more than 17,000 hotspot locations nationwide.
