Time Warner Cable's Columbus, Ohio division said it extended an existing billing and customer care agreement with CSG Systems Inc. for a period of three years. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the new deal, CSG will continue to provide customer service and support to about 308,000 cable subscribers in the greater Columbus area. More specifically, Time Warner's division will tap CSG's customer care and billing engine and will continue to use its "Vantage" reporting and decision support tool, its "Enhanced Statement Presentation," as well as financial services.
Time Warner Cable's relationship with CSG is not exclusive. The MSO also has sizable billing agreements with Convergys Corp., DST Innovis Inc. and Billserve Inc.
