TI introduces new DSL technology

Texas Instruments (TI) has introduced a new family of high-speed line-driver and receiver systems designed for CPE modems used in ADSL broadband communications. The products are designed to decrease the noise floor of the downstream signal, leading to improved data rates and wider service area for ADSL modem deployments, according to the company. The devices are targeted at PC external and internal modems, residential gateways and other systems used for high-speed ADSL access by homes and small businesses.
