BroadJump says Sprint Broadband Direct, the fixed wireless Internet service, has begun deploying BroadJump's Virtual Truck Installer in 12 cities nationwide. Sprint first began deployment of Virtual Truck Installer less than one year ago to accelerate the rollout of Sprint FastConnect DSL.
Sprint has already begun automating the installation process of its fixed wireless broadband service. Technological improvements and operational execution have led to activation intervals of less than one week in all of Sprint's broadband fixed wireless markets. According to Sprint, using this model saves time and resources connecting more subscribers in less time.
Sprint has begun rolling out Virtual Truck Installer in Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Utah, CaliforniaOklahoma and Florida.
