BroadJump has inked another deal for its Virtual Truck self-provisioning technology. Time Warner plans to launch the Virtual Truck Qualifier in 17 of its markets.
Time Warner will re-brand the technology as Road Runner System Qualifier. The technology can determine if potential subscribers have the necessary computing resources to support a broadband connection.
In a typical scenario, before a service provider goes to the expense of rolling a truck to a customer home, Virtual Truck Qualifier, through an automated pre-qualification process, can determine whether subscribers can proceed with the installation or if they need to upgrade their computer's resources for broadband.
Earlier this month, SBC signed on to use BroadJump's self-provisioning software.
