Business to Business Magazine's has named Scientific-Atlanta Company of the Year.
The January 2001 issue of the magazine notes the evolution of Scientific-Atlanta's products and services and the recent deployment of interactive television applications, including video-on-demand, e-mail, and Web browsing, across cable systems, represent millions of subscribers throughout North America.
In the article, Business to Business magazine editor Walter Woods writes, ``Scientific-Atlanta is poised to lead a new cable television Internet industry it helped to invent, a revolution that could spell the end of the PC…S-A's superior technology in its market could also give it a market domination rivaling Microsoft's.''
The award recognizes an Atlanta-based company for its significant advances in revenue, stock performance and growth in market share over the past twelve months. It also acknowledges the significant impact the company has made in its industry in the last year.
