Discovery Communications and Scripps Networks Interactive are in talks to join forces, a new report indicates.

Two sources told Reuters Tuesday talks have resumed, picking back up on discussions held in 2014. The two companies were reportedly trying to hash out a potential merger agreement at the time, but a deal never surfaced. Viacom also held talks to acquire Scripps, Reuters reported.

Details about terms of the deal were not revealed. Discovery and Scripps both declined to comment.

Reuters reported that this is at least the third time that Discovery has held talks to buy Scripps.

Discovery, which hosts its namesake channel, along with others like TLC and Animal Plant, has a roughly $15 billion market value, the Wall Street Journal says.

Scripps has a market value of $8.8 billion, according to the WSJ, and it airs channels such as HGTV, Travel Channel, and the Food Network.

If combined, Discovery and Scripps would form a $19 billion cable network that focuses on non-scripted shows.

Discovery Communications and Scripps Networks’ stock both got a bump on the news, with the former jumping more than 4 percent and the latter climbing more than 2.5 percent as of Wednesday morning.
