Blue Stream has extended its relationship with Netcracker Technology in which the operator says it will continue to use Netcracker's revenue management solution and consulting services to optimize call center operations, provision new services, and smooth customers’ abilities to pay for their services.

Blue Stream, formerly known as Advanced Cable Communications, has subscribers in the South Florida area. Services include internet speeds up to 1 Gbps and TV powered by TiVo DVR. Netcracker's revenue management solution will reportedly enable Blue Stream to generate customer information reports and deliver new TiVo and similar digital services. The solution will also allow Blue Stream's customers to view their statements online and make payments through the web. Blue Stream also says it will use Netcracker's consulting services to improve the user interface and experience for its call center operations.

Adtran reports it has shipped its 10 millionth vectoring port, and points out to the milestone as a strong indicator that network operators in the United States and Europe are looking to maximize their paths to ultra broadband service delivery. The company boasts it has shipped more DSL and VDSL2 vectoring ports in North America than all other vendors combined.

Adtran says VDSL2 vectoring is key to network operators’ broadband strategy to deliver 100 Mbps services using their existing DSL infrastructure that may only provide 10 Mbps service today. It says the solution is ideal for urban deployments and multi-dwelling units.

Cedexis named Ryan Windham as its new CEO. Scott Grout, the current CEO, will transition to a role as executive director, and remain an active contributor to the company. Prior to F5, Windham spent a decade at Websense.

Cedexis reports it is engaged with firms including Microsoft, Slack, and LinkedIn to smooth the delivery of applications and content from provider to consumer, and to deliver cost efficiencies by enabling flexible network strategies.
