Suddenlink Communications is now offering its subscribers the WatchESPN app and access to ESPN’s web portal to view live sports coverage anytime.
Earlier this month, Suddenlink and ESPN parent The Walt Disney Company announced a multi-year distribution agreement, which included access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPN News, ESPN Deportes, the Longhorn Network and the SEC Network.
Using a single log in for authentication, Suddenlink’s subscribers can access the ESPN stable of products on their tablets, smartphones and connected TVs.
The app is available to download free of charge at the Apple iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store. It also works on Roku, AppleTV, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV devices.
Suddenlink said it would continue to add networks to its Suddenlink2GO app on additional mobile devices.
