Jones/NCTI has introduced a mobile tool, called Amp, designed to help field technicians by making training content immediately accessible.

Amp is designed to complement a company's internal education toolkit and fill knowledge gaps so teams can quickly and efficiently solve problems while in the field.

Content is flexible and is supplied from Jones/NCTI's technician training curriculum and can include an MSO's learning libraries. Content includes videos, learning objectives and topics, demos, quick-tips, job aids, tutorials and more.

Companies can also use Amp to alert field teams about safety updates, severe weather, or other matters.

Giving field technicians easy access to such information has the potential to produce real-time customer satisfaction by increasing first call resolution and further aligning field teams with customer service, Jones/NCTI said.

"Amp takes learning to the next level, and empowers technicians to do their job accurately," said Stacey Slaughter, Jones/NCTI CEO and CFO. "As companies require a workforce with more comprehensive skills and education, Amp provides the just-in-time knowledge technicians need to provide an excellent customer service experience 'in the moment.' We are invigorating our products to ensure that Jones/NCTI tools support the way technicians learn today so that they can personalize their experience with bite-size, chunk knowledge, social learning and more."

Amp is available on the desktop, as well as an app for iOS and Android devices.
