Thriller and horror network Fearnet has inked a multi-year distribution agreement with Buckeye CableSystem.
Starting yesterday, Fearnet became available to Buckeye’s subscribers on its digital basic package in both SD and HD. Buckeye also locked up TV Everywhere rights from Fearnet.
Buckeye offers its triple play services to subscribers in Toledo, Ohio and the surrounding areas along Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland.
“Ohio is home to some of the largest and most popular genre conventions in the country,” said Mike Severino, Fearnet’s vice president of affiliate sales. “We’re thrilled that Buckeye customers and fans there can now experience our network firsthand.”
Fearnet is a partnership between Sony Pictures Television, Lionsgate Entertainment and Comcast. In addition to Buckeye, Fearnet’s roster includes, AT&T, Cox Communications Verizon and Time Warner Cable.
