AT&T has added three Pac-12 television agreements and BeIN Sport programming to its channel lineup.

This morning AT&T announced that its U-verse subscribers could now view more than 700 live Pac-12 events, including 32 football games, on Pac-12 Networks. The deal also included 250 men's and women’s basketball games and hundreds of other sports, including baseball, soccer, and gymnastics. Starting next year, Pac-12 Networks will increase its coverage to 850 events.

AT&T also became the Pac-12’s technology provider for its telecommunications needs including wireless and wireline communications services, Wi-Fi access, video and audio conferencing, mobile devices, and broadband access.

“Having the nation’s fastest and now most reliable wireless network and a new national distributor in our corner is a big win for the Pac-12 and Pac-12 Networks,” said Larry Scott, Pac-12 commissioner. “Together with AT&T, we’ll be able to give our Pac-12 fans the best, possible experience, and meet the fans’ ever-growing demand for Pac-12 content across all platforms.”

Under the agreement, which started today, AT&T carries standard definition and high definition programming from the following networks: Pac-12 Network; Pac-12 Bay Area; and Pac-12 Los Angeles.

In addition to the live sporting events, the coverage also includes original programming such as weekly football and conference sports shows.

Later this academic year, AT&T U-verse TV subscribers will receive access to existing authenticated products made available by the Pac-12 Networks as well as AT&T’s site and apps. These products will give AT&T U-verse TV subscribers access to live and on-demand content—both in-home and out-of-home—on their computers, smartphones and tablets.

On Friday, AT&T announced that beIN Sport and beIN Sport en Español were added to its U-verse TV channel roster in both SD and HD. The programming includes access to beIN Sports’ coverage of CONMEBOL and CONCACAF World Cup qualifying soccer matches and round 15 of South American qualifiers.
