Adara Technologies announced this morning it had successfully launched its digital video network upgrade platform with two additional service providers—Darien Communications of Georgia and Beaver Creek Telephone (BCT) of Oregon.
By using the platform’s switched digital video capability, both Darien Communications and Beaver Creek Telephone can clear up enough capacity to add hundreds of additional HD channels.
Adara Technologies is a provider of cloud-based, hosted and managed advanced video offerings that enable mid- to small-size service providers to implement advanced video services.
Adara's hosted and managed video platform works with any provider, irrespective of whether they are currently invested in a Motorola, Cisco/SA or other legacy digital video headend, CAS and associated set-top boxes.
Darien Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of Darien Telephone Company, Inc. is a triple-play service provider with approximately 3,000 subscribers in Southeast Georgia. BCT provides quad play communications services to Beavercreek, Oregon City and surrounding areas.
“While our immediate focus with both Darien Communications and BCT is operational cost and risk reduction, we are already planning to leverage our solution’s powerful SDV-in-the-cloud capability, advanced User Experience and IP apps and widgets,” said Joseph Nucara, Adara’s CEO. “Our already-deployed suite of powerful solution capabilities enables our partners to add revolutionary new video service innovations quickly – in weeks or months, not years – as our customers’ competitive pressures and opportunities warrant.”
