Multi-screen delivery specialist SeaWell Networks has hired Laurie Love as vice president, international and channel sales.
The company has been in the process of building a management team. It recently appointed Duncan Potter as CMO and Jeff Huppertz as senior vice president, business and corporate development.
Love joins SeaWell Networks from Acme Packet, where she was responsible for building the managed services and CPE resale business with service providers. Prior to that, Love was vice president of channel and strategic account sales at Camiant (which was acquired by Tekelec), vice president of sales at Avaya, and vice president of sales at Lucent Technologies.
Love will be based in Boston, Massachusetts and reports directly to Susan George, senior vice president sales and distribution.
“We are seeing huge growth in demand in the international markets for multiscreen solutions that enable service providers to meet their subscriber demands for high-quality live and on-demand video to tablets, smartphones, game consoles, PCs, and other multiscreen devices,” said George.
