Knology Business announced this morning that it has launched a new website that separates the business service offerings from the residential services on the company’s main site.

Knology became a wholly owned subsidiary of WideOpenWest Finance earlier this year after WideOpenWest (WOW) purchased the cable over-builder for $1.5 billion.

Knology Business is carving out its own identity under the larger Knology umbrella. Ahead of the website launch, Knology Business started its “Data, Voice, Video” branding campaign. After extensive research, Knology said the branding process has culminated with the release of the new website and domain.

“One of our core beliefs is accessibility,” said Betsy Hearn, senior corporate marketing specialist of Knology Business. “A unique website focused solely on our suite of business solutions will provide valuable awareness and details for both existing and potential customers to use to their advantage in order to leverage their place within the market.”

The new website includes online portals that allow customers to view data during peak call times and volumes, which gives businesses the opportunity to adjust their operations on the fly.

Portal users are also able to activate and customize the features of their VoIP phone systems, such as voice call routing, hunt groups, auto attendants, visual voicemail and phone programming, for individuals and groups of employees.

These online tools are an important step in realizing that goal.”

Knology Business is offering commercial services throughout systems in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kansas, South Carolina, South Dakota and Tennessee.
