RLTV, a cable network that provides news and entertainment for viewers over the age of 50, has launched in several of Mediacom Communications’ markets.
"At every phase in their lives, baby boomers made profound changes to American culture, and now at age 50 plus, they are redefining what it means to live longer, more fulfilling lives," said Paul Pecora, Mediacom's director for area operations. "We believe our customers will find RLTV's unique programming to be of value as they seek to enrich their lives with new pursuits and maintain healthy, active lifestyles."
RLTV is initially available in the following Mediacom systems: Apache Junction (Phoenix DMA), Menifee-Sun City (Los Angeles DMA) and Clearlake (San Francisco DMA).
RLTV claims to be the only television network dedicated to celebrating the lifestyle, interests and influence of boomers and seniors.
Mediacom Communications is the nation’s eight-largest cable operator, with a significant concentration of subscribers in the Midwestern and Southeastern regions.
