Avail-TVN and AdGorilla have forged a partnership to bring TVC+Latino, which is a new linear channel that features Spanish-language programming from Mexico, to viewers in the United States.
AdGorilla represents TVC+Latino by handling the sales, licensing and advertising for the new channel, while Avail-TVN will deliver the programming via its satellites to multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs).
"Spanish-language programming continues to represent one of the fastest-growing entertainment segments," said Jim Riley, chief revenue officer at Avail-TVN. "By partnering with AdGorilla to offer TVC+Latino to our affiliates, we're helping to bring one of the most exciting new entrants in this market to living rooms around the country."
Launched in December, TVC+Latino’s slate of programming includes sports, news, music, movies and a block of original programming that is specifically tailored to Latino women.
TVC+Latino is the latest offering from PCTV, Mexico's largest cable company and group of networks. The TVC+Latino video offering brings selected content from PCTV's six channels to U.S. audiences.
