Time Warner Cable recently promoted John Quigley to the position of regional vice president of operations for New York City.

In his new role, Quigley reports to Mike Munley, president of residential services for the East Region at Time Warner Cable.

Quigley, with more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, is now responsible for executing strategic initiatives that improve the overall customer experience and support residential subscriber growth in the New York City area.

"John is well known for strong leadership and a relentless focus on delivering the best possible customer experience," Munley said. "As we continue to enhance and launch new services, John will help lead our more than 3,900 local employees to consistently meet our customers' needs and expectations."

Quigley previously served as area vice president for Time Warner Cable's Albany operation, where Time Warner Cable said he established a track record of excellence in both customer service and field operations. Prior to Time Warner Cable, Quigley held various leadership positions at Sprint. He began his career as a technician for Nynex Mobile Communications after serving in the U.S. Navy.

Time Warner Cable's New York City footprint serves more than 1.3 million customers in four New York City boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and western Brooklyn); Mt. Vernon; Hudson Valley (Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties and parts of Dutchess, Greene and Delaware counties); and Bergen and Hudson counties in New Jersey.
