Time Warner Cable's white-glove Signature Home service is now available across the company's Southern California footprint.
Last month, Time Warner Cable re-launched its Signature Home service with new TV spots to promote the premium service. Signature Home includes: Time Warner Cable's DOCSIS 3.0 Wideband Internet tier, with download speeds of up to 50 Mbps; Internet on the Go hotspot capabilities; an iPad app; digital phone; remote DVR manager; Look Back and Start Over capabilities; home networking; and "white-glove" customer service.
In Southern California, Signature Home starts at $199 a month.
"At Time Warner Cable, we pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of choices, which can be customized to suit their preferences," said John Keib, president of residential services for Time Warner Cable's West Region. "The universal appeal of our technology lies in the options we provide to facilitate and complement a variety of lifestyles. We are confident that Signature Home will impress our most tech-savvy customers."
Time Warner Cable has previously said it would launch a version of Signature Home for Spanish-speaking customers later this year.
In its second-quarter earnings results, Time Warner Cable said its Signature Home subscribers doubled to 17,000, with average payments of $220 per month.
Time Warner Cable is also in the process of launching its cost-conscious TV Essentials video tier in more markets on the East Coast.
