Time Warner Cable is adding more than 30 new jobs via its new Northeast Technical Operations Center in Rochester, N.Y.
The technical jobs will be added to Time Warner Cable's facility by the first quarter of next year.
The Northeast Technical Operations Center will provide round-the-clock management and monitoring for Time Warner Cable networks, from the neighborhood to the individual customer, the company said. The center will centralize critical network management functions for the more than 2 million residential and business customers Time Warner Cable serves in upstate New York and New England.
With the improved monitoring and quality control, Time Warner Cable said it would be able to troubleshoot and resolve network issues quickly, often before they affect customers.
"Time Warner Cable is proud to announce the addition of these network management jobs to the Rochester area," said Terence Rafferty, regional vice president of operations for Time Warner Cable in the Northeast. "Our new Northeast Technical Operations Center builds on our strong investment in technology and talent and will help ensure a better experience for our residential and business customers."
Time Warner Cable currently employs more than 5,500 residents across Upstate New York and New England.
