Knology has added 23 new HD channels to its Charleston, S.C., lineup, with plans for more HD offerings in other markets over the course of this summer.

Knology previously added more HD channels to its Knoxville, Tenn., system earlier this month. Augusta, Ga., and Huntsville, Ala., are also slated for additional HD channels this summer. 

"We continuously strive to provide our customers with the advanced products and services they need to stay connected," says Tony Palermo, vice president of marketing for Knology. "The addition of 23 new HD channels will give our customers even more quality television viewing options."

The new HD channels added to Knology's Charleston's lineup include Bravo, CNN, E!, ESPNU, FOX News, Golf Channel, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, MSNBC, NFL Channel, Oxygen, SyFy, The Travel Channel, USA and Versus.

Knology has also been busy rolling out DOCSIS 3.0-based tiers in some of its systems.
