Comcast recently rolled out its Xfinity branding in the state of Vermont for its triple-play services and other products.

Comcast started rebranding its systems with Xfinity early last year, with the launches usually following on the heels of the cable operator's conversion to all-digital.

XfinityBrattleboro, Rutland and Bennington are the first areas in Vermont to get the new Xfinity brands, products and services, with the rest of the state to follow on a rolling basis in the coming months.

"Xfinity represents the future of our company, and it's a promise to our customers that we'll keep innovating," said Mary McLaughlin, senior vice president of Comcast's Western New England Region, which includes Vermont. "It also demonstrates our commitment to continually enhance our products and services so our customers can enjoy the best entertainment and communications choices wherever, whenever and however they want."

Comcast subscribers in those areas of Vermont now have access to more than 100 HD channels and more than 25,00 on-demand choices, with 6,000 in HD.

Comcast has also launched its DOCSIS 3.0 tier, with speeds of up to 50 Mbps on the downstream, in the Vermont Xfinity markets, and Comcast will soon add its 100 Mbps wideband tier.

Comcast has also launched its Xfinity TV and Xfinity Mobile apps and will add Caller ID on TV, myDVR Manager and AnyRoom DVR in the future.

Comcast has rolled out the Cisco/Scientific Atlanta S25 guide across the entire state of Vermont.
