Bright House Networks is launching 14 new channels, including 11 in HD, this month in central Indiana.

With the latest additions, Bright House Networks will increase its HD roster to a total of 120 channels.

"We are focused on providing the best, most popular programming and offering more HD content to our customers," said Karen Broach, regional vice president of operations for Bright House. "The addition of these new channels now provides our high-definition customers access to 120 HD channels and, coupled with our digital TV service Start Over that allows viewers to restart, pause and rewind certain live programs at any time, is another step Bright House Networks has taken to enhance our customers' TV viewing experiences."

The following channels will be available in December: HBO 2 East HD, HBO Comedy East HD, HBO Family East HD, HBO Signature East HD, HBO Zone East HD, HBO Latino East HD, The Movie Channel Xtra HD, Cooking Channel HD, The Hub HD, GSN HD, Gol TV HD, Gol TV, Great American Country and Showtime West.

In addition to Start Over, Bright House Networks recently started deploying its Look Back service in Tampa Bay and Orlando in October.

Last month, the nation's sixth-largest cable operator launched its remote DVR manager for wireless devices in central Florida, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, Bakersfield, Calif., and Birmingham, Ala.

Bright House is also working on rolling out a multi-room DVR service over the coming weeks.
