The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers is seeking nominations for its 2011 Young Canadian Engineering Professional of the Year Award.
The award will be handed out for the third time during the upcoming 2011 SCTE Canadian Summit on March 8 in Toronto.
The SCTE developed the award and presented it for the first time at the inaugural 2009 SCTE Canadian Summit. The award was designed to annually recognize a young cable telecommunications engineering professional in Canada who is already making his or her mark on the industry.
Individuals can be nominated for the award based on their technical contributions, achievements and leadership in advancing the cable telecommunications industry.
Nominees must be a Canadian resident, an SCTE member and under the age of 35 as of Dec. 31.
The deadline for nominations is Jan 10. Individuals interested in submitting a nomination may do so here.
