The CableLabs conference is next week, one of the most important venues for introducing new cable network technologies, replacing open trade shows.

The next open venue for displaying technology innovation will be the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in New Orleans Oct. 20-22.

SeaChange plans to introduce its important new EngageTV Validator and will also feature its Watch & Buy t-commerce extension for on-demand services.

TDVision Systems will demonstrate what appears to be a singular 3-D display technology it calls its Encode Once, Deploy Everywhere 2D+Delta System.

BigBand Networks plans to demonstrate managed IP video delivery using its vIP Pass.

InnoTrans will show a means to reclaim significant bandwidth in optical systems based on 1310 nm optics with 1550 nm optics. 

Concurrent will demonstrate its end-to-end advanced advertising and media data collection and management solutions.

And Openet plans to demonstrate its Subscriber Data Management architecture and Interactive Services Fulfillment solution.
