Just days after the conclusion of The Cable Show in Los Angeles, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers has launched the Cable-Tec Expo 2010 website.

Registration is available on the site (and registering now will save more than $100, according to the SCTE), as well as full conference details for the event to be held Oct. 20-22 in New Orleans.

The Expo 2010 program chairman is Scott Hatfield, executive vice president and CTO at Cox Communications.

In addition to exhibits and technical workshops, Expo 2010 will feature, once again, the SCTE Green Pavilion and the Expo Cable Technology Spotlight – this time for “The Networked Home.”

Registration is also open for the SCTE Conference on Broadband Learning & Development (CBL&D) 2010. The conference, in conjunction with Expo, is set for Oct. 19 in New Orleans. CBL&D addresses the primary challenges facing the industry’s learning and development professionals.
