Cogeco Cable gave its HD lineup a big boost this week with the addition of 26 new high-definition channels.

Beginning yesterday, Cogeco HD television subscribers gained access to History Television HD, MovieTime HD, CBS College Sports Network HD, TLC HD, KTLA HD, WPIX HD and WSBK HD at no extra cost.

Also starting yesterday, Cogeco said its “Super Sports Pack” now has a total of 23 distinct HD channels, each one dedicated to a specific sport. The Super Sports Pack is composed of the NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, MLB Extra Innings, NBA, OHL, Nascar, and U.S. college basketball and football.

"Our customers just love the outstanding quality of HD television and the experience it brings,” said Ron Perrotta, vice president of marketing and strategic planning at Cogeco Cable. "Our HD television service continues to draw new subscribers every month, which confirms that customers appreciate the variety, quality and control that Cogeco Cable's HD television service provides them.”
