The Managing Board of the Cable TV Pioneers has announced the new Class of 2010, to be inducted during the 44th annual Pioneers Banquet at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on May 10.

The new honorees are men and women who have served the cable industry for more than 20 years and have made meaningful contributions to its development through their participation and leadership in national, state and regional trade associations.   

In announcing the new class of Pioneers, executive director Les Read said, “these are the folks who have made the business what it is today and have led their companies or departments with consistently excellent results. Their commitment to the industry at large is evidenced by their accomplishments.”

The class of 2010 will include a special posthumous induction from the state of Montana in addition to representatives from all segments of the industry, from local system managers to MSO executives, engineers, programmers, equipment vendors and financial services providers.
