Insight Communications, the nation’s ninth-largest MSO, today announced appointments to its executive team.

Gary Felthousen joined Insight as its director of business operations, and he will report to Woody Hutton, senior vice president of operations. Felthousen will work with the district leadership team and staff. Prior to Insight, he served as Atlantic regional director of financial operations for Suddenlink Communications.

Insight also said Cherie Sparks was named director of project management for advanced systems engineering. Prior to joining Insight as a consultant in 2007, Sparks served as director of development and operations for Cardiac Data Solutions, a cardiac data and analysis corporation.

At Insight, she is responsible for managing various advanced systems engineering and infrastructure engineering projects, such as e-mail migration and stabilization.

Lastly, Domingo Kullberg was appointed director of HFC engineering. Kullberg joins Insight’s engineering team as the liaison with field operations and is tasked with increasing the reliability of the HFC network.

Previously, he was with Verizon Telecommunications, where he was responsible for video planning of transmission and switching platforms used for the delivery and support of the FiOS TV service and related services on the national fiber-to-the-premises network.
