Ericsson’s Tandberg Television said its OpenStream Digital Services platform is being used by Multimedia Polska to power its on-demand (VOD) services.

Last week, Harmonic said Multimedia Polska is using its StreamLiner video servers and Armada intelligent asset manager (story here).

TandbergTV has supplied the Polish operator with its Xport on-demand content production software system, as well as its OpenStream back office.

Multimedia Polska, an IPTV provider in Poland, has more than 600,000 customers. Prior to its launch of VOD, the company last year introduced HDTV using Tandberg’s encoding products. The provider is planning a mobile TV service.
