Mixed Signals Inc. said it has enhanced and upgraded its Sentry Digital Content Monitor and Medius Application Manager. New features in the latest release include historical program bandwidth graphing, a new program group dashboard display, and alerts for events such as video freeze, video black and audio silence.
"With our continuing enhancements to Sentry and Medius, we are able to provide stronger solutions to minimize operator downtime by validating audio and video quality, content integrity, and value-add services such as local ad insertion and carousel monitoring," said Mixed Signals CEO Eric Conley, in a release.
The company said future releases will offer support for OCAP, switched digital video and enhancements for monitoring IP-based video networks.
Last year, Mixed Signals launched Medius, a platform that can remotely administer and consolidate information for up to 15 of its flagship Sentry network management systems - enough to serve a "large" headend.
Mixed Signals has disclosed deployments with Cablevision Systems Corp., The Comcast Media Center and Time Warner Cable's Advanced Technology Group, among others.
