Bel Fuse Inc. is the latest vendor to join the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA), a group that holds the secrets of a home networking scheme that pipes video and other content over existing coax lines at a theoretical 270 Mbps.

Bel said it is developing a series of MoCA-compliant RF diplexers and other related devices for the innards of MoCA products. Those components, the company said, will play a role in how MoCA-based devices - including TVs, set-tops, DVRs, and PCs - talk to each other on the home network.

"Bel's commitment to providing magnetic-based MoCA-compliant products helps further fill out MoCA's complete ecosystem, from components through systems, for our service providers and retailers," said MoCA President Ladd Wardani, in a release.
