The Moxi Media Center is a dual-tuner digital set-top with high-definition and digital video recording capabilities. Digeo also offers a multi-room version that employs smaller "Moxi Mate" devices, which feed off the primary media center.
Eagle is deploying the boxes to customers in its home town of Hays, Kan., and the surrounding communities. Service Electric, meanwhile, is offering the gear to digital subs in areas of Sunbury, Hazelton and Birdsboro/Kutztown, Pa.
Digeo said Moxi continues to serve as a churn-buster, with churn dropping more than 40 percent in markets that have introduced the company's media centers.
With Eagle and Service Electric now in the mix, Digeo said its Moxi platform has been installed in more than 225,000 homes and 80 markets in North America. Other MSOs to deploy Digeo include Adelphia Communications, BendBroadband, NewWave Communications, Sunflower Broadband and corporate cousin Charter Communications.
