Knology Inc. has closed a deal to sell its Cerritos, Calif. property to WaveDivision Holdings LLC for $10 million in cash.

Knology originally acquired the system in December 2003 from Verizon Media Ventures.

WaveDivision, founded in 2002, presently serves 80,000 broadband subs in western Washington and southern California.

"The proceeds received from this transaction further enhance our liquidity position and allow us to fully focus on operating our core broadband businesses in the southeast," said Knology President & CEO Rodger Johnson, in a statement.

DH Capital LLC represented Knology in the transaction.
