In Demand has shifted the distribution of its video-on-demand and high-definition fare to SES Americom 's "HD-Prime" AMC-10 satellite.

Under the deal, the C-band bird will distribute In Demand's two linear HD nets - INHD and INHD2 — and its menu of on-demand programming to cable headends.

"SES Americom and its HD-Prime cable neighborhood provide In Demand with advanced and reliable satellites in the best locations, which will enable our HD and VOD services to reach more homes than ever before," said John Vartanian, senior vice president, technology and operations for In Demand.
