Sprint Corp. has reached an exclusive, five-year deal to provide IP voice services to USA Companies, a cable operator based in Kearney, Neb.
USA Companies said it will use the Sprint partnership to offer VoIP service to 62,000 customers.
The agreement "allows us to broaden our bundled consumer offerings as well as begin positioning ourselves as a full-service provider, all without the need to invest in building a telecom infrastructure," said USA Companies President Chris Hilliard, in a release.
Sprint also supplies "turnkey" support for Time Warner Cable 's aggressive VoIP deployment. Sunflower Broadband, meanwhile, has inked a deal to offer Sprint PCS as part of the MSO's service bundle.
