The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers has slated two seminars before the official start of this year's Cable-Tec Expo (June 15–18) in Orlando.
The pre-event seminars, to be held Tuesday, June 15 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., are entitled "Meeting the Challenges of Advanced Services Deployment and Operation" (presented by Andrew Healey of MasTec) and "Transparent GigE Transport: Covering Today and Planning for the Future" (presented by Jim Kuhns of Optinel Systems).
The seminars require a separate registration and cost $150 for SCTE members, $200 for non-members. The costs are covered with a full Expo registration, however. Interested parties can register via the Web or by calling 800-542-5040.
