The Cable Center announced that it will induct seven cable industry luminaries to the 2003 Cable Television Hall of Fame.

They are: Julian A. Brodsky of Comcast Corp.; Gustave M. Hauser of Hauser Communications; John S. Hendricks, president and CEO of Discovery Communications; Robert L. Johnson, president and CEO of BET Holdings Inc.; Walter Kaitz, founder of the California Cable Television Association; John J. Sie, founder, president and CEO of Starz Encore Group; and Robert J. Tarlton, formerly of Jerrold Electronics and the founder of one of the country's first cable systems.
