Industry forum Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) is now seeking nominations for the group's prestigious 2003 Women in Technology Award.
Offered in conjunction with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), the award recognizes the achievements of leading women technology professionals in contributing to the growth of the cable telecommunications industry through personal achievement. The recipient of the 2003 award will be honored at a special luncheon held during SCTE's 20th Annual Cable-Tec Expo, set to kick-off May 11 in Philadelphia.
WICT has bestowed the Women in Technology Award since 1995. Past winners of the award are: Christy Martin of Canal + Technologies, Sabrina Calhoun from Cox Communications, Margaret Gaillard of DVA Group, Sally Kinsman with Motorola Broadband, Yvette Gordon-Kanouff of SeaChange International, and Pam Nobles of Comcast.
