Rogers nets $455M in Q4 on $3.26B in revenue

The company reports a 3 percent gain in quarterly revenue to $3.26 billion and 88 cents in earnings per share – beating estimates of $3.19 billion and 72 cents per share.
Sprint LTE live in parts of San Fran, NYC, D.C.

Verizon finalizes 3 spectrum deals to rural telecoms

Nortex Communications picked up the Texas RSA 6-Jack 700 MHz lower B-block license, and Panhandle Telecommunication Systems acquired the Texas RSA 2-Hansford 700 MHz lower B-block license.
Former Insight exec Griffith joins Willner at Penthera

Kansas House approves telecom deregulation bill

Intel working on TV set-top box to replace cable

Report: Global mobile phone sales declined 1.7% in 2012

Smartphones rang up the most sales, with 207.7 million units moving in the fourth quarter of 2012.
