EU signs off on Liberty Global’s deal to buy Virgin Media

DoJ signs off on Moto/Arris deal

Infonetics Research’s report said the world’s top-three service providers in 2012 by revenue were, in order, NTT, AT&T and Verizon.

Deutsche Telekom could delay final tally in T-Mobile, Metro Vote

Cox, Verizon Wireless combo bundle drops into Vegas, Arizona

The bundling deal, which was first announced in December of 2011, allows subscribers to pick their service preferences from a range of offers that include video, Internet, home phone and 4G LTE wireless services.
Shaw buys Enmax, field trials 400 Gbps

Using Alcatel-Lucent's 1830 PSS with the 400G Photonic Service Engine (PSE), the trial ran over a 400 kilometer route between Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta, Canada.
MegaPath using Edgewater gear

Apple patents iPhone with wraparound display

MetroPCS shares up as T-Mobile deal is criticized

Shares of Dallas-based MetroPCS, the fifth-largest U.S. cellphone company, rose 42 cents, or 4 percent, to $10.95 in midday trading.
Cisco Systems raises dividend 21 percent

The San Jose, California-based technology giant will pay a 17-cent quarterly dividend on April 24 to shareholders of record April 8. That's up 3 cents from the last quarter.
