Time Warner Cable’s 1Q profit driven by business services

For the quarter, Time Warner Cable lost 119,000 basic video subscribers, which were more than the 91,000 that analysts had projected.

Cable One spending $60 million on upgrade

Rogers Anyplace TV will be available on 2012 and 2013 LG Smart TVs including OLED and Ultra HD. At launch, the app will host more than 1,000 hours of content.

Provo next after Austin for Google Fiber

Google Fiber was rolled out in Kansas City, Mo., last year; company announced earlier this month it will make Austin, Texas, the second city to get ultra-fast Internet service.
