The new customer care handle gives Time Warner Cable a more unified front with all Time Warner Cable Twitter handles following the “TWC” designation.
Harmonic adds Netflix presets to transcoder

The presets are designed to enable to speed the process of programmers using ProMedia Carbon to transform video and audio content into media formats optimized for Netflix.
Cox tunes in MoviePlex suite of services

Rogers TV Anyplace app streams into LG’s smart TVs

Rogers Anyplace TV will be available on 2012 and 2013 LG Smart TVs including OLED and Ultra HD. At launch, the app will host more than 1,000 hours of content.
DLNA hands out awards to 10 members

Comcast streams Outdoor Channel

Effective immediately, the Outdoor Channel’s video content is now available on Comcast’s Xfinity on demand, the xfinity.com/tv web portal and through the Xfinity TV Player app.
Rovi to help Facebook get more TV-friendly

Starz pushes 2nd-screen technology

SeaChange issues weak fiscal 1Q outlook

The Acton, Mass.-based company posted net income of $7 million, or 21 cents per share, for its fiscal fourth quarter that ended Jan. 31. That compares with a loss of $4.8 million, or 15 cents per share, for the same quarter of the prior year.
Adobe Primetime launches with Comcast, NBC Sports

Tek testers handle HDMI
April 9, 2013 12:01 pm | by Brian Santo | Product Releases | CommentsTektronix has introduced a new waveform monitor with HDMI/HDCP inputs, enabling video distributors to directly monitor the quality of the video and audio output of set-top boxes (STB) and Blu-ray players. According to Tek, previously there was no way for broadcasters and video service providers to monitor the video signal quality output from STBs, Blu-ray players and other consumer devices with HDMI outputs.
