MobiTV is banking on its cloud-based video platform, which was originally developed for mobile video, to provision TV Everywhere-type services for cable, satellite and IPTV video providers.

MobiTV’s end-to-end TV Everywhere platform includes content ingestion; digital rights management (DRM); authentication; and integration with PCs, tablets and a range of mobile devices. The service delivers both live and on-demand programming for viewing at home or on the go.

MobiTV said it supports more than 375 types of mobile devices across wireless and broadband networks. The service comes with a customizable, branded multi-platform user experience and features single sign-on authentication.
