• Insight names Avery GM in Bowling Green

Insight Communications has named Jerry Avery as general manager of its Bowling Green district. Avery will oversee all aspects of Insight’s operations in Bowling Green; some key areas include community relations, strategic planning, operations management, fiscal management and human resource management.

Avery returns to Insight from Comcast in Savannah, Ga., where he was director of marketing and sales. Prior to that position, he served as director of affiliate marketing at Excite@Home [1] in Atlanta.

Avery first worked with Insight in 1998 as manager of marketing in the operator’s Louisville, Ky., district.
